TAP-NY Comedy Night at Stand Up NY

May 4, 2023 @ 6:45 pm - 9:00 pm EDT

We’re excited to invite you out to our second comedy event, after great success last year!

Happy Hour begins at 6:45 PM, and the comedy show will begin promptly at 8:00 PM and end before 9:30PM. There will be an hour after the show for mingling. Please note that due to the nature of the venue, your seat is not guaranteed if you arrive after the show starts at 8:00 PM.

Tickets are limited, and prices will go up fast, so secure your spot before it is too late – you don’t want to miss the hottest event this spring! We sold out last year weeks before the event!

Pricing (excluding Eventbrite fees)

  • Early Bird: $25/person
  • General Admission: $30/person

Because Stand Up NY has generously waived their two drink minimum and has also worked with us for a special ticket price, TAP highly encourages attendees to purchase drinks at the venue.

At this time, admission will not be offered at the door, but this may change closer to the event. Please also be advised that tickets are not transferrable and only tickets directly procured through TAP-NY’s Eventbrite will be honored.

Current Lineup (subject to change):

Josh Daws (host)

Josh is from Florida and still upset about it. You may know him from his appearances on NBC and the hit Nat Geo show “Brain Games”.

Ricky Sim

Ricky Sim is a lawyer turned comedian originally from Malaysia. As a stand-up, he has performed at various venues in NY, LA, Toronto, and Kuala Lumpur, and he opened for Marcia Belsky (Comedy Central) as part of the 2022 NY Comedy Festival. Jared Waters

Jared Waters is a comedian who hails from Tampa, Florida. Currently, Jared resides in New York City . His hard work and consistency with the ability to work clean and edgy has led him to be one of the most sought after Up and Coming comedians in the New York City Area. When Jared Waters is in between jokes, the future of this great nation is residing on his shoulders as a Kindergarten teacher. His funny stories from the classroom to his far-fetched comedy has the ability to make audiences feel like their minds are on several planets as then he brilliantly brings them back to earth with a gut full of laughter. Jared has opened up for Don Rickles, Sinbad, Emo Phillips, Michael Che, D.C Benny and more. His talents can be seen at the Stand Comedy Club, West Side Comedy Club, Carolines, Improv’s, Funny Bones, Broadway Comedy Club, Governors Comedy Club, Banana’s Comedy Club, Side Splitters Comedy Club, and countless festivals.

Dylan Adler

Dylan Adler is a comedian, actor, writer, and musician based in NYC and LA. He’s currently a writer on the Late Late Show with James Corden where he also performed Stand Up and was a Sports Correspondent. She co-produced “Asians Strike Back: a Coronavirus Comedy + Science Show,” which got featured on New York Times, CBS and TimeOut. She is the proud creator of Weekly Takeout: an Asian American late night show on IG and Mandarin podcast 好戲開場 It’s Showtime!.
