This year’s Passport to Taiwan Festival – one of the largest (and most delicious) celebrations of Taiwanese America will be held on Sunday, May 26th, in Union Square. As in year’s past, TAP-NY will be running the oyster omelette booth, and we need your help! We’ll also be helping run the Taiwanese Census Campaign booth, raising awareness around the 2020 census and the ability to write in your own race. (Taiwanese is currently not listed as an option under race).

No experience is required to help out, but you’ll be learning on the fly to make one of the festival’s most popular dishes and an awesome civic engagement campaign. It’s great teamwork, a lot of fun, and an amazing way to help out with the festival.
