TAP-NY joins Project by Project New York (PbP-NY) and Riverkeeper for a park clean-up event at Borden Ave (LIC) for the 11th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep.

Volunteers will meet at Sparks Deli! We ask all volunteers to wear sturdy shoes or boots, clothing that they can get dirty, and to bring a hat, sunscreen, a full reusable water bottle, a face mask, work gloves, and hand sanitizer.

Please only sign up if you are 100% committed to making this event. Volunteer spots are limited.

*IMPORTANT! To ensure the safety of volunteers, Sweep Site Leaders, park staff, and our communities, we ask that volunteers adhere to the following guidelines:

• Volunteers are required to pre-register, and bring their own masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, and water. TAP-NY will provide latex gloves, but gardening gloves are preferred.
• All participants from different households must wear masks when closer than 3-6 ft from one another.
• Volunteers should not participate if they have ANY signs of illness or if they have potentially been exposed to COVID-19 within the previous two weeks.
