TAP-NY Dinner Series at Jeepney
January 29, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm EST
Join Matt Chen (Professional Chair) and Sarah Sayavong (Vice President) for the first TAP-NY Dinner Series of the year at Jeepney, a Filipino gastropub in a funky diner setting.
The TAP-NY dinner series is a great way to enjoy a good meal with a fun group of people, including two TAP board members, to learn more about our organization and what events we have coming up.
About Matt and Sarah
Matt was born and raised in upstate New York and has been in NYC for 5 years. During the day, Matt works in executive search for an international hospitality consulting firm. Outside of work, he enjoys getting beat up as an active boxing, Muay Thai, and Jiu Jitsu competitor, as well as being a totally basic coffee/tea enthusiast and budding craftsman. Matt aspires to one day grow up to be a farmer or carpenter – but that’s a separate conversation for dinner!
Sarah has spent most of her life in the Midwest but is now a data manager for a New York City agency. Since moving here, she’s been enjoying all the wonderful art the city has to offer, from small and large immersive theater productions to performances by dance companies from around the world. Otherwise, she’s hanging upside down for aerial yoga or chilling with her floofy cat Yzma. If you want to be her friend, just tell her how beautiful her cat is.
Registering for the Event
Because of heavy demand for dinner series, we have implemented a lottery process for dinner series sign-ups:
Sign-ups for January dinner series will close Friday, January 24, 2020, at 11:59 pm ET, after which we’ll randomly select people to attend. Replying to our selection email, should you receive it, is required to attend.
Note: While registration for the event is free, individuals are still responsible for covering their own meal. TAP facilitates these dinners to help members get to know each other in an intimate setting.
