TAP-NY Cocktail Workshop [Virtual]
December 2, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm EST
In this hybrid TAPpy Hour x Workshop, TAP-NY member, Eric Lin, will be leading us in making two cocktails celebrating and inspired by flavors from Asia. Learn how to combine ingredients already on your liquor shelf and to devise your own original drinks, while meeting other TAP-NY members!
By the end of the workshop, you’ll feel more confident talking about drink families, better understand the ingredients you might see on a cocktail menu, and maybe even have taken a trip down memory lane to some familiar childhood flavors.
For this workshop, you’ll need to have some bartending equipment and ingredients ready:
- Equipment: Cocktail shaker (any kind), a strainer, a jigger (or measuring spoons), glassware (large whiskey glass & collins or tall water glass; both around 10-12 oz). If you don’t have a cocktail-making set, it’s strongly recommended that you acquire one for this workshop.
- Ingredients: A detailed list of ingredients will be sent out to confirmed workshop participants before the workshop. Minimum required: a gin, a baijiu (or vodka), St. Germain (or another elderflower liqueur), Lunar Yuzu Hard Seltzer (or another citrus seltzer), dried chrysanthemum tea buds, barley tea, 1-2 lemons, sugar, and ice.
*We will share the virtual link with registrants prior to the event.
