The TAP-NY professional dinner series is a great way to enjoy a good meal with a group of like-minded people, including TAP board members, to network and share professional insights and opportunities. In addition, you will learn more about TAP, our mission, and how you can get more involved!
In this dinner series, we’d like to bring together any sales and account management in the tech industry. Traditionally, our member base is heavy with folks in technical roles (SDE, data) so this event caters to those in client-facing roles. Come meet other tech sales professionals, chat about best practices, and learn about what other companies are doing!
About Bruce
Bruce was born in Taiwan but raised in Aurora, Colorado. Having a passion for hospitality and business, he attended Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and upon graduation, found himself in the business of helping companies generate revenue. He began his career as a pricing analyst for a major US airline, where he ensured pricing competitiveness in the domestic US network.
Realizing he was more passionate about building relationships and selling, he transitioned into ad sales at an e-commerce/website development company and held a number of sales/relationship management positions before leaving to join an HR tech company to lead the partner-referred account management team.

Because of heavy demand for dinner series, we have a lottery process for sign-ups:
Sign-ups for the April dinner series will close Thursday, April 17th, at 11:59 pm ET, after which attendees will be selected. Replying to our confirmation email, should you receive it, is required to attend. The exact restaurant name will be provided to those selected in the lottery.
Note: While registration for the event is free, individuals are responsible for covering their own meal. TAP facilitates these dinners to help members get to know each other in an intimate setting.
