Susan Baek, a senior at Princeton University in the School of Public and International Affairs, is working on a thesis project titled “The Politics of Identity and Media in Asian American Communities.”
As a part of her research, she is seeking to interview individuals in New York City about their engagement with their Asian American identity, politics, and their consumption of digital information. She is particularly interested in how Asian Americans’ engagement with digital information and their identity affect their political behavior. The goal of her project is to better inform policymaking for Asian Americans.
For anyone in TAP-NY that is interested in participating in her research, please email [email protected]. This would involve a 1-2 hour interview with Susan to discuss your thoughts and experiences on these topics. To ensure the confidentiality and privacy of all participants, she will provide each person with a consent form that outlines the details of the interview and the measures she will take to protect their personal information.
