This short drama about a Taiwanese American woman reconnecting to her late immigrant mother through cooking her childhood lunches is also led by an all Asian, female producing team: Chenney Chen, Rachel Liu, and Gabriella Murillo. Anne Hu’s Bio: Anne Hu is a Taiwanese American, NYC-based, award-winning director, writer, editor, and actress. Hu was featured in The Hollywood Reporter for making the 2020 Alice List for Emerging Female Filmmakers who have not yet directed a feature. She shadowed director Marc Webb on the Netflix series “The Society.” Her latest short CAKE was accepted into 38 film festivals, won 9 awards, and was featured in The Washington Post.
