6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
140 West 13th Street, New York, NY 10011
Join Kristie Kuo (Cultural Chair) and Mike Chuang (Social Chair) for TAP-NY’s June Dinner Series at Sotto 13, featuring wood-fired pizza and hand-crafted fresh pasta in a historic brownstone in the West Village!
As always, TAP-NY dinner series are a great way to enjoy a good meal with a fun group of people, including two TAP board members, to learn more about our organization and what events we have coming up.
Kristie moved to NYC in 2015 and currently works at a tech startup. An avid fan of dou hua (豆花) and all Taiwanese street food (except stinky tofu), she travels to Taiwan every few years to get back in touch with her roots. In her spare time, Kristie enjoys ballroom dancing, outdoors activities, traveling, and reading.
Mike attended Duke University where he studied Mechanical Engineering. From there, he spent a few years in Charlotte before relocating back north to New York working in tech consulting. On a typical day, you can find him riding a Citibike, reading up on data science, or eating dollar slice pizza. Mike visits his family in Taipei almost every year and is excited to contribute to the broader TAP community.
Note: Because of heavy demand for dinner series, we have implemented a lottery process for dinner series sign ups:
– Those not randomly selected will be notified and will receive priority for attendance at future dinner series events.
– Sign ups for June dinner series will close 6/15/18 at 11:59pm ET, after which we’ll randomly select people to attend.
– While registration for the event is free, individuals are still responsible for covering their own meal. TAP facilitates these dinners to help members get to know each other more in an intimate setting.
