How prepared are you for your next Indian wedding? Turn up the music and energy with an exciting Bollywood/Bhangra class taught by dance extraordinaire, Rahul Kak! 

The word “Bhangra” literally translates to “intoxicated with joy.” This popular celebratory folk dance originating from northern India is incredibly versatile and can seamlessly absorb modern hip hop and dancehall influences without losing its roots.

Our instructor Rahul has performed and competed in bhangra/bollywood dance styles for his college team Duke Dhamaka, later for the nonprofit Boston Bhangra, and most recently at his sister’s wedding! He also has extensive hip hop experience through companies like WyldStyl in Texas, Raw Elementz, and PMT Dance Company in NYC.

Please dress comfortably. Beginners are welcome!
