Plate by Plate, hosted by Project by Project (PbP), is returning this year, but ON A BOAT! The event will be benefiting our beneficiary partner, Think!Chinatown. Tickets will include unlimited food and drinks, a casino night, a silent auction, lots of entertainment, bumpin’ music, and stations where you can learn more about our 2021 Campaign: Asian Americans & The Environment.
Plate by Plate is the oldest and largest Asian American-run tasting benefit in the nation, and the only one of its grandeur that is organized entirely by volunteers. At Plate by Plate NYC, you’ll eat and drink to your heart’s content, engage in stimulating conversation, participate in our silent auction, enjoy unique experiences, and receive free entry to our after party to dance the night away. Proof of vaccination will be required to enter.
Every year, PbP hosts an annual benefit with a beneficiary (Think!Chinatown) to raise awareness and funds. This year, the event will be on a boat with the below details:
- Date/Time: Friday, October 15th, 7-10:30 PM
- Venue: Pier 36, Liberty Belle Cruise, four floor cruise with indoor and outdoor area
About Project by Project
Project by Project (PbP) is a nationwide non-profit organization that strives to empower the Asian-American community through social initiatives that increase volunteerism, develop young leaders, and give back to our local communities. It is a 100% volunteer organization that has championed a multitude of philanthropic endeavors, contributing to community outreach, public awareness, and fundraising efforts of local charities in the area that include: mental health, domestic violence, immigration, and homelessness. This year, the chapter is on a campaign to raise awareness and ignite change on Asian Americans & the Environment in NYC and have also strived to tailor events to #StopAsianHate, including putting on self-defense classes in Chinatown and handing out alarms to the elderly.
