To support those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, TAP-NY’s parent organization, TACL (Taiwanese American Citizens League), has partnered with TASF (Taiwanese American Scholarship Fund) to distribute a one-time Student Relief Fund totaling $50,000 in an effort to aid Taiwanese American/Taiwanese households with students in these troubling times.
OVERVIEW
The COVID-19 Student Relief Fund is sponsored by TASF and operated by TACL. The fund offers a $500 one-time payment to each student in a Taiwanese American or Taiwanese household that has been financially impacted by the recent pandemic.
To be eligible for the relief payment, you must:
- Be a legal resident within the United States
- Self-identify as Taiwanese American or Taiwanese
- Be a student (or a parent/legal guardian of one) enrolled in an educational institution between K-12
APPLICATION
The application process will be open and accepting applicants until September 30, 2020, at 11:59PM EST.
