Our Taiwanese cooking classes are back! On Friday, March 10th, we’ll be getting together to learn how to make chicken wrap (ji juan, 雞捲), a favorite Taiwanese night market snack.
Not to be confused with the commonly known (and equally delicious) Taiwanese fried chicken, chicken wrap is a warm and delicious mix of fish paste and meat, all lightly fried together in a soft tofu skin. The result is a snack that’s as flavorful as it is fragrant, bursting with deliciousness.
Our favorite Taiwanese “a-ma” will be leading this class, so come out for a fun evening of mixing ingredients, meeting new people, and most importantly, eating!
The total cost for this event will be $10 per person and will be paid on site. Please only register for this event if you can make it! Directions to the cooking workshop site will be sent in the days prior to the event. If spots are filled, sign up on the wait list for a chance to get a spot!
