The TAP-NY Ski Trip is back! This year, we’re heading up to Okemo, a resort known for its impeccably groomed trails and for having one of the largest vertical drops in Vermont. Our trip will be from Friday, March 11th to Sunday, March 13th; we’ll be tackling trails for all levels and hanging out at night together in slopeside ski-in ski-out condos! Last year’s trip was “snow” much fun and we can’t wait for more – get ready for a weekend to remember.
As in years past, TAP-Boston will also be joining us for this trip, so get ready to meet friends from a new city as well!
The cost of this year’s trip is $350 a person, which includes round-trip bus transportation from midtown Manhattan, 2 day lift ticket, 2 nights mountainside ski-in ski-out accommodation, and Saturday night food/festivities. If you would like to arrange your own transportation to the mountain, the cost will be $310 per person.
Ski, snowboard, and helmet rentals, as well as lessons, are available at discount rates. Payment for rentals and lessons will be made directly to the resort as the trip approaches – please see below for details.
In order to secure a spot, please fill out this Google form AND send payment to TAP via Paypal or Venmo ($350 if taking the bus, $310 if taking own transportation). Your spot will be confirmed once payment is received.

Important Information Regarding Rentals and Lessons
For those interested in renting equipment and who do not need a lesson:
We have secured special group rates for ski, board, and helmet rental. The instructions for securing rentals will be provided one week before the trip, as we have a special group link for payment to the resort that cannot be disseminated publicly. Prices will be as follows:
2 Day Ski or Snowboard Rental: $70 (additional $18 for helmet rental). Please note that the TAP trip accounts for two days on the mountain – Saturday and Sunday.
1 Day Ski or Snowboard Rental: $37 (additional $10 for helmet rental). The one day package may be of interest to those who prefer to hang out in the lodge or go tubing on one of the days of the trip. Please note however, that your payment for the trip ($350 if taking the bus or $310 if taking own transportation) includes a two day lift ticket.
For those interested in taking a lesson:
We have secured special group lesson rates. The instructions for signing up will be provided one week before the trip. There are three options and prices will be as follows:
Adult Learning Lesson Package: The rate for these lessons will be $48 per lesson. Lessons take place from 10 AM to 12 PM and from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. You will need to either bring your own equipment, or follow the instructions above to rent equipment. There are four levels of lessons offered – the highest is for those who feel comfortable on green circle trails.
Get Skiing or Riding Lesson Packages:
Please note that the below lessons are for first time skiiers/boarders only. Even if you have skied/boarded before and cannot turn, this type of lesson is not recommended – it is for true beginners. Additionally, while we provide these packages as options, we recommend against them, as they only come with a beginner lift ticket. Based on past years, most people, including beginners, prefer to have access to the full mountain on both days, as this is where much of the group will be, and there are green circle (easiest) level trails available.
Get Skiing or Riding 1 Day Lesson: The rate for this type of 1 day lesson will be $69 per lesson. Lessons are two hours long and include one day rentals as well as a one day beginner lift ticket (only allows access to lower mountain and learning hills). Remember that when you pay TAP for the trip ($350 or $310) you are already paying for a full mountain lift ticket. Should you choose this option, TAP will provide a small reimbursement to you after the trip, since your lesson comes with a beginner lift ticket.
Get Skiing or Riding 2 Day Lesson: The total amount for this type of lesson (one per day, two total) will be $132. Each lesson is two hours long and include rentals as well as a two day beginner lift ticket (only allows access to lower mountain and learning hills). Remember that when you pay TAP for the trip ($350 or $310) you are already paying for a full mountain lift ticket. Should you choose this option, TAP will provide a small reimbursement to you after the trip, since your lesson comes with a beginner lift ticket.
