Join Alex Shih (President) and Agnes Chiao (Social Chair) for TAP-NY’s March Dinner Series at Ipanema restaurant! Set on 46th Street in “Little Brazil,” Ipanema offers a rich selection of Brazilian and Portuguese food for meat and seafood lovers, at an affordable price. With generous portions, and dishes that include angus steak tossed with shrimp and crab meat and tiger shrimp with mussels and clams, it’ll be hard to go wrong. Ipanema also has refreshing cocktails and pitchers of sangria to help make conversation even easier.
As always, TAP-NY dinner series are a great way to enjoy a good meal with a fun group of people, including two TAP board members, to learn more about our organization and what events we have coming up.
About Agnes and Alex
Originally from Connecticut, Alex has been involved with TAP-NY for over five years. When he’s not working on “TAP stuff,” he enjoys playing tennis, watching basketball, and going out, especially to places that play Top 40. He’s always looking for new event ideas and ways to have fun with friends. Agnes loves basketball and has been playing since she was growing up in Taiwan and Los Angeles. She rarely eats vegetables, is an early riser, and like Alex, loves to go out and meet new people.
Note: Because of heavy demand for dinner series, we have implemented a lottery process for dinner series sign-ups:
– Sign ups for March dinner series will close 3/9/17 at 11:59 pm ET, after which we’ll randomly select people to attend.
– Those not randomly selected will be notified and will receive priority for attendance at future dinner series events.
– Note: while registration for the event is free, individuals are still responsible for covering their own meal. TAP facilitates these dinners to help members get to know each other more in an intimate setting.
