Philipstown, NY 10516
Join TAP-NY for a rewarding hike in upstate New York! We’ll be traveling to Breakneck Ridge in the Hudson River Valley, a 4-mile hike with a ~1,500 ft elevation change, in the morning, and return to NYC by late afternoon.
Please note that this is a moderate to strenuous hike and is not recommended for beginners (steep climbs and descents, rough terrain, rock scrambling). We will be taking the train from Grand Central to travel to Breakneck. Spots are limited and will be prioritized on a first come, first served basis.
If you choose to come, please strongly consider bringing the following:
Water (2+ liters/person)
A packed lunch
On September 29th, we will be meeting at 7:20AM in Grand Central station. Please note that you should arrive at the station with ample time to purchase a Metro North ticket to Breakneck Ridge ($30 roundtrip).
Contact Joanne (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have any questions about reserving a spot or the hike overall.
We look forward to seeing you there!
