Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Hi! I grew up in Guangzhou, CN and have been in New York for around 5 years. I also spent some time living in Seoul, South Korea. So far, I have been enjoying life in NYC, working as an accountant, meeting amazing people and learning to be positively independent. I have a wide range of interests and hobbies for different seasons like traveling in the spring and autumn, going to the beach in the summer, skating and skiing in the winter. One of the coolest things I did last year was driving a Jeep Wrangler to Antelope Canyon in Utah. Its beauty was spectacular and majestic. One of the things on my to-do list this year is to meet the mysterious Steve Aurora. Hope it comes true.

Why did you join TAP? What is your favorite event?
One of my Taiwanese friends introduced me to TAP. The first TAP event I participated was TAPpy Hour at Circle: A Mid-Autumn Night’s Dream in 2015. TAP helps people with shared interests to meet and provides opportunities to develop new ones. It has various events, like cooking, hiking, volunteer activities, happy hour, skiing trip, book review and summer Olympics. I would say my favorite event is book review in which it reveals unique aspects of Taiwanese and Asian Americans — their lives, stories and challenges.

What is your favorite Taiwanese food?
三杯鷄 (Taiwanese Three-Cup Chicken)

If we wanted to hang out with you, where to find you?
Ice rink, like the one in Chelsea Piers.

What is your advice for new member who want to get more involved?
Join as many as events you can. The more you participate, the better you appreciate TAP. You will find many amazing people.
