TAP-NY held its second annual March Madness Bracket Challenge this year. As always, it was a tournament filled with surprises and Cinderellas, and the competition was fierce.

Our winner this year was Chris Wong, who correctly selected Villanova to win it all. In second place was Jeff Hsu, and in third place was Charlie Wang.

Some numbers on this year’s bracket challenge:

0 – amount it cost to enter our bracket challenge
64 – number of people who entered our bracket challenge
1 – number of people who correctly selected Villanova as this year’s tournament winner
3 – number of people who finished with over 100 points
36 – number of people who had Michigan State in the Final Four. Michigan State was eliminated in the first round of the tournament by unknown Middle Tennessee
200 – total amount of prize money given to our top three, and last, place finishers

In a twist this year, TAP-NY also gave a cash prize to the individual with the worst bracket in our pool. We’ll keep it under wraps as to who that was for now 😉
