This past weekend, TAP held one of its biggest events of the year – a ski trip to Mount Snow. More than 80 TAP members came together for laughter, fun, and of course, to conquer the mountain.
Ski trips are deeply personal – there’s nothing quite like cruising down a mountain, feeling the wind rush against your face, and seeing your scarf flap in the wind. But at the same time they’re incredibly communal – friends ride the lifts together, offer encouragement, and race to the bottom. It’s this dual feeling that makes this event special for our members.
On Saturday morning, we woke up early after a long bus ride, ready to hit the slopes. Some took lessons together and stuck on the bunny hill (no shame), others checked out the terrain park, and more rode the lift to Grand Summit for an action packed ride down.
That evening, some of us cooked in our condos while those of us who are less adept in the kitchen enjoyed a filling buffet. Our party that evening was a fun filled affair as people bonded over Jenga, Cards Against Humanity, and a little alcohol here and there.
Sunday was sunny and gorgeous, and we hit the slopes to show Mount Snow what TAP is made of. Those of us less inclined to ski or board for a second day went tubing, and by the time we were back on the bus home, everyone was ready for a nap.
I hope our members enjoyed the trip – shoot me or Jesse a note (firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com) with any questions. See you at our upcoming events!
